Tim Stockdale
Top international show jumper Tim Stockdale, born 1964. Tim first represented Great Britain in 1988. He has now represented his country on over 50 occasions in Nations’ Cup teams including, the 2002 World Equestrian Games, the 2008 Olympic Games in China and the 2009 European Championships. In early 2010, he served as Chef d’Equipe for the victorious Great Britain team in Nations’ Cup contest in Abu Dhabi.
Tim is probably one of the best known faces in British Show Jumping.
In recognition of his “outstanding services” to equestrian sport, Tim was presented with the British Equestrian Federation’s Medal of Honour at the British Open Show Jumping Championships in April, 2010. In 2006, he was awarded an Honorary Degree by Nottingham Trent University for services to equestrianism.
Joseph Stockdale
Joseph is 17 years old and competes in Show Jumping internationally. Gunner II is a 16 hh stallion by Winningmood.
Ellie Cowlard
Ellie is 15 years old and has been riding since she was 4. She competes in BSJA Newcomers competitions.
She represents Northampton Pony Club and this year she competed in all 3 disciplines and won at Areas in Eventing, coming first and finishing on a dressage score of 27. She then went on to compete at Championship level finishing on 44 but not getting placed. She also represents Cherwell Valley Riding Club. This year she was successful in Dressage, going to the BRC winter dressage champs and placed sixth as an individual and most recently at the BRC Summer Champs at Lincoln where she came second. She was also very successful at Trailblazers Champs, coming third in dressage this year.
Ellie is also a member of BYRDs and is a member of the Northants & Cambs Academy for show jumping. In the last month she passed her B test with the pony club which was a considerable achievement at 15 years old.
Ellie has created a wonderful partnership with her horse Grapefruit Moon, having bought him as a 6 year old 2.5 years ago.
Karen Corr
Karen is originally from Northern Ireland and lives in Lancashire with her partner Bond, 3 dogs, 3 horses, a flock of Hebredian sheep and various poultry on a small holding. Both her and her partner have been competing in endurance rides for over 20 years. They currently have a 5yr old Arab gelding called Zee who's completed his Novice qualifications this year, a home-bred 9yr old Arab mare called Lottie who upgraded to Advanced level in September and a 10yr old, coloured pony mare called Squiggle competing at Advanced level. Over winter, Karen competes at local dressage competitions with Lottie. The longest distance she's ridden in one day has been 84kms but she did manage 128kms over 2 days on Squiggle in 2015. They've also completed Man vs Horse in Wales and would love to attempt the Golden Horseshoe and the Cairngorm endurance rides which are 2 of the toughest, most challenging courses in the UK.
Megan Rees
Megan has previously competed in British Eventing up to FEI2* level. Since having children she has competed in British Dressage, competing at Regional Finals at Medium level in 2016 with her Welsh Section C pony - 'Thorneyside Tornado' aka Kyte. She has a 4 yr old sports horse - 'Bournefield Alibro' aka Chica - who is just starting out in her eventing career.
Michelle Billington
This is Pick of the Day (a.k.a Pickles), Michelle Billington's 16hh, 11 year old ex-racehorse. Michelle has owned Pickles for nearly 8 years and they really enjoy their eventing. They currently compete up to BE Novice level and they can't wait for next season to start! They are also hoping to get out to some Dressage competitions over the winter months after Pickles has finished his holiday. Pickles is a real character and has a great personality. He always let's you know exactly how he's feeling!
Rebecca Kilby
Rebecca Kilby purchased Gaby in 2017. Rebecca says “Gaby is a little pocket rocket, 15.3 hh 6yo KWPN mare and I hope we will have lots of fun together.” KWPN - Dutch Warmblood registered with the Koninklijk Warmbloed Paardenstamboek Nederland (Royal Warmblood Studbook).
